Tesla will recall 2,431 electric Cybertruck pickup trucks in the US.
The reason for the recall of the Cybertruck pickup truck batch is the loss of drive power. General Motors cars are recalled due to transmission problems.
The American car company Tesla will recall 2,431 electric Cybertruck pickup trucks in the US. This is the sixth such step this year, Reuters reports.
The reason for the recall of the pickup truck batch is the loss of drive power, which can increase the risk of an accident.
It is noted that a malfunction of the drive inverter in Cybertrucks manufactured between November 6, 2023 and July 30, 2024, can lead to loss of traction and increase the risk of a collision.
In the recalled cars, Tesla will replace the drive inverter with an inverter equipped with a working component, at no additional charge.
General Motors is also recalling nearly half a million cars, Reuters reports.
461,839 cars are subject to the recall due to transmission problems. These include Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra and Cadillac Escalade 2020-2022 models. The transmission control valve may fail on these cars, which could lock the rear wheels.
Earlier it was reported that Tesla is recalling more than 27,000 Cybertruck electric vehicles in the US due to a delay in the image from the rear view camera.
Recall, the American company General Motors is recalling 323,232 cars due to a problem with the rear doors, which can come off while driving.
