The new series will tell about the young years of serial killer Dexter Morgan, showing his first steps on the path to a dark legacy.
Paramount+ has released a trailer for the series Dexter: Original Sin, which is a prequel to the popular show about serial killer Dexter Morgan.
The series will reveal the story of Dexter’s young years, when he was just beginning to realize his dark side.
The action takes place in Miami in 1991. Young Dexter is faced with the first manifestations of his craving for murder and turns to his adoptive father Harry for help. The father, realizing that the craving for blood will not disappear, creates his own moral code for him, which directs the young man on the path of the “right” choice of victims.
The role of Harry Morgan was played by Christian Slater, and the young Dexter is played by Patrick Gibson. The character’s inner monologue, as in the original series, is voiced by Michael S. Hall.
Dexter: Original Sin will consist of 10 episodes and will be a fascinating study of the origins of one of television’s most famous anti-heroes.
It was previously reported that the political thriller The Death of Putin by Polish director Patrick Vega will appear in Ukrainian cinemas on January 16, 2025.
